Where is AdventSource located?

AdventSource is located in Lincoln, Nebraska, on Union College’s campus. In 2013 AdventSource constructed and moved into a new building at 51st Street and Prescott Avenue.

Who owns AdventSource?

AdventSource is a non-profit organization under the North American Division of the Seventh-day Adventist Church. We are operated by a Board of Directors that meets twice each year. AdventSource does not receive any funding from the Seventh-day Adventist Church for our operations. We operate from sales and revenue we receive by providing special services for the Seventh-day Adventist Church in North America.

What is the difference between AdventSource and the Adventist Book Center?

The major difference is that AdventSource sells materials targeted to local church leaders, while most of what ABCs sell is intended for any member to purchase. AdventSource is also the offical supplier of Pathfinder and Adventurer Club uniforms and supplies.

Can I purchase your resources if my church is not in the North American Division?

Yes! Local church leaders from around the world are using leadership and Pathfinder and Adventurer Club resources purchased from AdventSource.

What forms of payment does AdventSource accept?

We accept all major credit cards: American Express, Discover, Master Card, and Visa. All transactions must be in US dollars. We also accept US checks and money orders through the mail.

How safe is it use my credit card to make purchases on AdventSource’s website?

Our website maintains the highest level of security certification to make sure that the transfer of all financial information is secure. For security reasons we do not store any of your credit card information. If you do not want to enter your credit card information electronically you can call us at 402.486.8800 and give the information directly to one of our ministry consultants.

Why are you located in Nebraska and not in Maryland with the church headquarters?

In 1981 the General Conference Youth Ministries Department asked Union College if they would be willing to open a distribution center for Pathfinder ministries. Since Nebraska is in the center of the country, it takes equal amounts of time to ship to both coasts, and it’s more economical to maintain a warehouse in the Midwest.

Does AdventSource provide resources in Spanish?

We are pleased to provide a growing selection of Spanish products, a Spanish language resource catalog, a bilingual website, and Spanish-speaking ministry consultants. We also provide select resources in French.

How is AdventSource affiliated with Adventist Church Connect?

Adventist Church Connect (ACC) is the North American Division’s network of free websites for Seventh-day Adventist churches and schools in the US, Canada, and Bermuda. ACC and ASC are managed at the North American Division office in Maryland, and staff located at AdventSource provide customer support. Custom website design services are also available through AdventSource on a contract basis.

How can I bill my church for supplies that I need for my ministry?

AdventSource has a billable account system known as Express Connect. Click here to learn more and apply.

How do I buy Pathfinder honors and Adventurer awards?

Honors and awards are in the restricted section of our website and require a Conference Authorization Code in order to view and purchase. Please contact your conference office for this information. Once you have the code, you can call us at 402.486.8800 to have the code added to your account, or else you can enter it under My Account > Password > Authorized User Pass. Also, remember that you must be logged into your account to view honors and awards.

How do I download digital files?

When you purchase a download from AdventSource you will receive an order confirmation and instructions on how to download your file by email. Downloads are copyrighted material. Customers purchasing downloads are authorized to use them for personal and local church use. Any other use is not permissible. 

 

I ordered a product, but received a notification that is out of stock. What happens next?

Out-of-stock items will be placed in your Reservation List. AdventSource will notify you via email as soon as these items are back in stock. You can then place a new order for these items.  We do not backorder products.

Can I edit my order after I have submitted it and a confirmation number has been generated?

Once your order has been submitted, we will process it as quickly as possible to ensure your package is delivered on time. If you would like to add items or increase quantity, please place a new order. If you need to reduce the quantity of an item, please call us immediately at 402.486.8800. We will be able to reduce the quantity as long as your order is in Open status. Your order will not be modified once status changes to Processing.

Can I cancel my order at any time? 

We can cancel an order until its status changes to Shipped. You are welcome to return any items for exchange. If needed, we will assess the returned order and issue a refund minus shipping costs.

How can I track my order?

When your order ships you will automatically receive a shipping notification email that includes a UPS, USPS, or FedEx tracking number.

How can I download a Pre-Authorization Form?

Call us at 402.486.8800 with your order number and we will email or mail it to you.
