Worship is vital to our connection with God. We’ve needed something in print to guide us as we investigate this important part of life. Thankfully, Dr. Edwards has brought us face to face with the purpose and practice of worship in this important book. -Mark Johnson, president, Seventh-day Adventist Church in Canada
This much-needed volume presents vital information and ideas about worship. In these days when everyone seems to have an opinion about worship and an idea of how it should be conducted, Dr. Edwards calls attention to the fact that, especially in the SDA Church, there is need for clarity on the matter of the worship experience. I applaud the author for calling us back to whom worship is about. This highly readable volume will enrich our knowledge about the content of worship, deepen our experience of the worship event and lead to a more vibrant relationship with and adoration of the God who is worshipped. -Dr. Bertram Melbourne, Howard University School of Divinity
