Description

The Controlled Phonetic Reading Phonogram Flashcards include 70 of the most common phonograms in the English language. All the alphabet letters are covered, plus most multi-letter phonograms such as ch, sh, th, oy, oi, ee, ea, ar, or, ough, ie, ay, ai, etc. On the back of each card, all the sounds of the phonogram are listed, including sample words. Also, some spelling rules, such as the letter “q” is spelled with the letter “u,” are also included on the cards to be taught along with the sounds. These flashcards are specifically designed to go along with the Controlled Phonetic Reading Program but can be used independently to ensure a strong phonetic foundation for reading.
